The rules for using this website: what is published here, what an account is for, and what this site is not.

The short version. These terms cover the website and app themselves — reading them, creating an account, and what you may do with what is published here. The agreement that governs your care plan, your prescription and your payments is the terms and conditions, and it is a separate document. Nothing on this site is medical advice.

This summary is not the agreement. Where the two differ, the numbered sections govern. Sections 09, 10 and 11 are unwritten placeholders and have to be drafted by counsel before this page is published.

Scope of these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [legal entity name to be confirmed] (“dose”, “we”, “us”) about your use of this website and any dose app. They apply from the moment you open a page here, whether or not you create an account.

Two other documents sit alongside them. The terms and conditions govern the care plan itself — the assessment, the prescription, the medication and the money. The privacy policy explains what we do with information about you. Where a document deals with a subject specifically, that document governs it.

Who may use this site

You need to be at least 18 years old to create an account. The site is intended for people in the United States, and treatment is available only in the states where dose operates.

This site is not medical advice

Everything published here — the explanations, the comparisons, the frequently asked questions — is general information. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation, and not a substitute for talking to a clinician who knows your history.

Reading this site does not create a clinician–patient relationship. That relationship begins only if a licensed clinician reviews your assessment and takes you on.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not use this site to ask for urgent help.

Your account

You are responsible for what you tell us and for keeping your sign-in details private. Use an address you actually read; a lot of what matters is sent there.

Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close an account where the information given to us is false, where the platform is being misused, or where we are required to.

Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the platform. That includes giving false information in an assessment, trying to obtain a prescription for someone else, reselling or sharing medication, copying the site at scale, interfering with its security, or using it to harass anyone who works here.

We may remove content, restrict access, or end your use of the site if any of that happens.

Content and intellectual property

The dose name, the wordmark, the design of this site and its text and images belong to us or to our licensors. You are welcome to read pages and print them for your own personal use. Anything else — republishing, adapting, or using them commercially — needs our written permission.

If you send us feedback or a suggestion, we may use it without owing you anything for it.

Links and third-party services

Parts of the platform rely on other companies — payment processing, identity checks, laboratory work, scheduling and shipping among them. Their own terms govern what they do, and we point to those terms where they apply to you.

We also link out to material we did not write, including clinical references. A link is not an endorsement, and we do not control what sits on the other end of it.

Availability and changes to the site

We do not promise the site will be available without interruption. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, and we may do that without notice where security or safety requires it.

Where a change affects something you have already paid for, the terms and conditions govern what happens next.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Carrying on using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not, stop using the site and tell us.
